Duravex adds robotic welding capability in Louisa
Duravex has expanded its welding capabilities with the installation of a Fronius collaborative robotic welding cell at its Louisa facility.
The system pairs Fronius welding technology with a FANUC robotic arm and a coordinated rotary positioner that turns parts during welding. Together, they support consistent weld placement and efficient production of repeat components and assemblies.
For customers, the investment adds production capacity and supports repeatable weld quality. The cobot complements our skilled welding team by handling repetitive welding work, allowing our welders to focus more time on complex fabrication.
